Frankton Heritage Days Festival

The word heritage means “traditions”. Each year we celebrate with events for the entire family, parades, antique tractors and lots of entertainment.
One weekend each year we come together as a community to work, play, share, serve and even show off a little. We celebrate our little community in a very big way! Everyone is invited to join us!

Check out the daily Balloon Flight Schedule for flight times, competitions and glows! Plan to take a ride! Float majestically through the sky in a graceful hot air balloon enjoying the romance, tranquility and breathtaking views of the countryside.

Our festival is packed with great food, live entertainment, exciting activities, arts, crafts, parades and much, much more. There is definitely something for everyone!

Don't miss "Rendezvous", a pre 1840’s encampment. Here you can travel back in time when Indiana was first being settled and the great west was being explored by fur trappers and traders. Rendevous is dedicated to the preservation of traditions and ways of our nation's greatest, most daring explorers and pioneers. These re-enactors demonstrate life on the early frontier, a living example of the fur trade era.

You can also relax and spend some time browsing the exhibits at the Annual Quilt Show located in the "Family Life" building at the Frankton Christian Church!

Frankton Heritage Days Bingo

Our "Kids Pedal Tractor Pull" Competitions will be happening again this year. Kids from three to eleven are welcome to be in the show for free and compete in a fast paced, action packed, pedal tractor pull. It is our mission to positively uplift each child, help create a healthy self esteem, and leave each child with a giant smile on his or her face!
“The kids make the show special, it’s all about them. This performance is a celebration of each childs accomplishments.

Take a stroll through our Annual Custom Car Show. Custom Auto Show This is a great opportunity for the automotive enthusiast to see some of the best custom cars, trucks and motorcycles in the area. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, 11:30 am - 5:30 pm.

For the 2nd year Frankton Heritage Days will put on the annual Golf Cart Poker Run around the City of Frankton. Much like the events name infers, participants will drive golf carts around the City of Frankton stopping at various historical points, businesses and parks to gather playing cards to try and produce the best five card poker hand possible.
